The band is exclusively writers of a certain age committed to rocking on, no matter how good they never quite get. Even so, they like to talk about their band, and lots of other things. Other members include Stephen King, Amy Tan, Scott Turow and many others. Frank McCourt made a special appearance that night and played the harmonica, sort of.
